Step-by-Step Tutorial to Create a Vidwan ID
Step 1Access the Vidwan INFLIBNET Portal
- Open your web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
- Go to the official Vidwan INFLIBNET portal: https://vidwan.inflibnet.ac.in/
Step 2Click on "Sign Up"
- On the homepage of the Vidwan portal, locate the "Sign Up" button
- Click on it to begin the registration process
Step 3Select Your Institution
- After clicking "Sign Up," you will be redirected to a page where you need to select your institution
- In the search bar, type "St. Xavier's College" (or your respective institution)
- Select St. Xavier's College from the dropdown list
- Click "Proceed" to move to the next step
Step 4Fill in Your Personal Details
- You will now be directed to a registration form
- Fill in the required details:
- Name: Enter your full name as per official records
- Email ID: Provide a valid email address
- Mobile Number: Enter your active mobile number
- Designation: Select your designation
- Department: Select your department
- ORCID ID (Optional): Link your ORCID ID if available
- Research Areas: Specify your research interests
- Double-check all the details for accuracy
Step 5Create Login Credentials
- Set a Username for your Vidwan account
- Create a strong Password (minimum 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters)
- Re-enter the password to confirm
Step 6Agree to Terms and Conditions
- Read the Terms and Conditions of the Vidwan portal
- Check the box to agree to the terms
- Click "Submit" to complete the registration process
Step 7Verify Your Email
- After submitting the form, you will receive a verification email from Vidwan INFLIBNET
- Open your email inbox and locate the email
- Click on the verification link provided in the email to activate your Vidwan account
Step 8Log in to Your Vidwan Account
- Return to the Vidwan portal: https://vidwan.inflibnet.ac.in/
- Click on "Login"
- Enter your Username and Password
- Click "Sign In" to access your Vidwan profile
